Design the Future of Human Communication

We are hiring Designer #1 to lead product design at Oasis. You will be employee #7, working directly with the founders alongside a distinguished technical team of engineers, entrepreneurs & AI researchers. You won’t just shape our product, your designs, if successful, will shape the future of all human interaction.

The ideal candidate is a senior designer with an entrepreneurial bent who enjoys crossing disciplines. You possess broad knowledge of all aspects of design, and are comfortable working directly with engineers in a loosely structured environment. You are not precious about your work. You’re insanely curious. You learn fast.

As Designer #1, you will report to the CEO and be the cornerstone of our design culture. Eventually, you will lead and build the Oasis design organization.

Responsibilities

• Invent new interface paradigms & patterns that will become industry benchmarks
• Design insanely useful single-player communication tools for voice, mobile, web & desktop
• Design groundbreaking AI-native social experiences (multi-player)
• Create rapid prototypes using Framer, Origami or similar tools
• Rapidly playtest & iterate your designs
• Analyze usage data & use it to inform design
• Oversee user research & usability testing
• Manage external design agencies & contractors (as needed)
• Collaborate directly with founders on product design
• Ship quickly
